Here at Porch Light Health, we know that reaching out for help with opioid use can feel like one of the hardest steps you’ll ever take. As one of Colorado’s largest cities, Aurora deserves a recovery program built around the people who live here. Our administrative staff and Aurora Suboxone® doctors work alongside each client to deliver compassionate, judgment-free care and an evidence-based treatment plan rooted in dignity and respect.

Call our Aurora team at (866) 740-0607 or submit a contact form online. We'll answer your questions, explain how MAT works, and help you understand your next steps, with no pressure and no commitment to enroll.
We'll verify your insurance benefits, usually the same day. Most of our Aurora clients pay little or nothing out of pocket with Medicaid, Medicare, or commercial coverage. Once benefits are confirmed, we schedule your first appointment at a time that works for you.
At your first visit, one of our clinicians completes a confidential assessment of your history, goals, and any co-occurring conditions. Together, you'll build an individualized treatment plan. You can learn more in our what to expect guide.
If medication is part of your plan, we can often start the same day as your assessment. You'll meet your counselor, set a schedule for follow-up visits, and begin your recovery work with a consistent care team.
Recovery isn't a single appointment. We offer continued medication management, counseling, and psychiatric care for as long as you need it, with the flexibility to move between in-person, mobile, and telehealth visits when life changes.
We envision a community where access to treatment for addiction and mental health disorders is not only available but also embraced with the utmost respect and dignity. Our Aurora Clinic is committed to leading the way in making this vision a reality, promoting a greater understanding of addiction and mental health challenges within the community.
Whether you are seeking help for yourself or a loved one, our Aurora Clinic is here to provide the support and care needed on the journey to recovery. Contact us today to learn more about our programs and how we can help you or your loved one take the first step towards a healthier, more fulfilling life.
How soon can I start treatment at the Aurora clinic?
In many cases, we can complete an initial assessment and begin treatment the same day, especially when a medication like Suboxone is clinically appropriate. Call us at (866) 740-0607 to check current availability at our Aurora location.
Do I need a referral to come to Porch Light Health?
No. Most of our clients come to us directly without a referral. If you were referred by a provider, community partner, or loved one, we're happy to coordinate with them when you'd like us to.
Is MAT just replacing one drug with another?
MAT uses FDA-approved medications at therapeutic doses under medical supervision, which is clinically distinct from active substance use. Research suggests MAT can help reduce cravings, support stability, and lower the risk of overdose. Our clinicians can walk you through how it works and whether it may be a fit for your situation.
Will my visits be confidential?
Yes. Addiction treatment records are protected under both HIPAA and 42 CFR Part 2, a federal regulation that provides additional confidentiality protections specific to substance use disorder care. We don't share your information without written consent, outside of narrow legal exceptions.
Can I do treatment virtually if I live in Aurora?
Yes. Many of our Aurora clients use a combination of in-person and virtual visits depending on what fits their week. You can also participate in a fully virtual outpatient track if that works better for your life.
What if I'm reaching out for my child or a loved one?
You're welcome to call on behalf of someone else. We can explain our adolescent and adult programs, walk through your questions, and help you think through how to start the conversation.
