    Why Choose
    Porch Light Health?

Colorado is in the middle of one of its most serious substance use crises. Fentanyl-related overdose deaths have climbed sharply across the Front Range since 2020, and rural and frontier Colorado — from the Western Slope to the Eastern Plains to the San Luis Valley — continue to face significant treatment access deserts. In dozens of Colorado counties, there is one MAT provider, or none, within a reasonable drive of where patients live.

Porch Light Health was built to close that gap. Our Colorado-licensed clinical team has worked in addiction medicine in this state for years. We operate more than 20 fixed clinic locations across the Front Range and Western Slope, mobile treatment units serving frontier communities from Steamboat Springs to the southern San Luis Valley, and a statewide telehealth program that meets patients where they are. We accept Health First Colorado (Medicaid), Medicare, and most major commercial plans, and you don't need a referral to get started.

If you or someone you love is searching for evidence-based addiction care in Colorado, we're here — close to home, medically grounded, and built for how this state actually lives.

    Our Comprehensive
    Services Include:

Here at Porch Light Health, we empower our clients to break free from the chains of addiction with our proven treatment methodologies. Our holistic strategy melds Medication for Addiction Treatment (MAT) with behavioral health initiatives, crafting a recovery path that addresses both the physical and emotional aspects of addiction.

    • Medication for Addiction Treatment (MAT): Serving as a foundational element of our treatment spectrum, MAT leverages FDA-approved medications to mitigate withdrawal symptoms and diminish cravings, paving the way for a smoother healing journey.
    • Behavioral Health Support: Acknowledging the pivotal role mental health plays in recovery, we provide extensive counseling and case management services, offering the critical emotional and psychological backing necessary for enduring success.
    • Community Partnerships: We're firm believers in the healing power of community. By forging strong recovery communities within Colorado, we connect our clients with the essential support and resources they need to flourish after recovery.
    • Outpatient Services: Designed to accommodate individual needs, our outpatient services deliver flexible, office-based treatment, enabling clients to incorporate recovery into their daily routines seamlessly.
    • Mobile Treatment Sites: With an eye on accessibility, our mobile units extend addiction treatment services to rural and underserved communities, ensuring comprehensive care is accessible to all.
    • Extensive Clinic Network: Our widespread network of clinics across Colorado and New Mexico guarantees that top-notch care is always available, simplifying the process for both new and relocating patients to find the help they need.

    Medications Utilized in Our
    Treatment Programs:

Our MAT programs are a critical support system for individuals on their recovery path. Understanding the vital role these medications play in treating substance use disorders, we ensure our treatment plans are comprehensive and personalized. Here’s a look at the key medications we employ:

    • Suboxone® Treatment: A vital part of our MAT offering, Suboxone® combines buprenorphine and naloxone. This mix not only eases withdrawal symptoms and cravings but also deters misuse, providing a stable foundation for recovery.
    • Vivitrol Treatment: As an injectable form of naltrexone, Vivitrol acts as an opioid blocker, administered monthly to support individuals in maintaining opioid abstinence. Its long-acting nature helps keep cravings and relapse at bay.
    • Sublocade Treatment: Introducing an innovative approach with Sublocade, an injectable buprenorphine that delivers a consistent, month-long medication release. This method ensures steady medication levels, aiding in craving and withdrawal symptom reduction and promoting adherence to treatment.

Our integrated use of these medications, alongside counseling and behavioral therapies, forms the core of Porch Light Health’s holistic treatment philosophy. Addressing addiction’s physical and emotional dimensions, we have a comprehensive path to recovery that respects the individuality of each person’s journey.

The dedicated team at Porch Light Health is committed to navigating each patient through their recovery with compassion, expertise, and an in-depth understanding of MAT’s transformative potential. By weaving these medications into individualized treatment plans, we strive to lay the strongest possible foundation for a fulfilling, substance-free future.

Do I need a referral to start treatment at a Colorado MAT clinic?

No. You don't need a referral to get started with us. You can call our team directly at 866-935-5183 or use the zip code search above to find the location nearest you and begin the process.

Where are your Colorado MAT clinics located?

We operate more than 20 fixed clinic locations across the Front Range and Western Slope, with locations in communities like Grand Junction, Golden, Boulder, and Durango. In total, you can explore 28 locations on the map above. For communities outside our clinic range, we also offer mobile treatment units and statewide telehealth.

    What insurance do you accept?

We accept Health First Colorado (Medicaid), Medicare, and most major commercial plans, including Kaiser Permanente, Cigna, Anthem, UnitedHealthcare, and Humana. For uninsured or out-of-pocket payers, a sliding fee scale based on family size and income is available. We serve all patients regardless of their ability to pay.

What medications do you use in your MAT programs?

Medication for Addiction Treatment uses FDA-approved medications to ease withdrawal symptoms and reduce cravings. Our programs may include:

    • Suboxone®: A combination of buprenorphine and naloxone that helps ease withdrawal and cravings while deterring misuse.
    • Vivitrol: A monthly injectable form of naltrexone that acts as an opioid blocker to support abstinence.

What can I do if there isn't a clinic near me?

We designed our care around three connected options so distance doesn't have to be a barrier. You can visit one of our in-person clinics, connect with a mobile treatment unit serving rural and frontier communities, or receive care through our statewide telehealth program. Many patients are able to begin with a video visit from home.

Is treatment only for opioid addiction?

No. While our MAT programs are central to opioid recovery, our team supports individuals facing a range of substance use challenges. We pair MAT with behavioral health support, including counseling and case management, to address both the physical and emotional sides of addiction.

    Who do your programs serve?

We tailor care to people at different stages of life and from different communities, including teens, adults, and seniors. We also offer dedicated support for veterans, the LGBTQIA+ community, BIPOC individuals, and first responders.
